President Mary Evans presents
NDP recognition award to
Principal Stephanie Sullivan.

The mission of the KAESP, the collective voice of Kentucky's elementary and middle level principals, in partnership with other education leaders, is to develop citizens that can succeed in a global society, by delivering to our members a network for support, professional development, visionary leadership, and by pro-active involvement in shaping education policy.


KAESP and KASSP visit Capitol Hill
Representative Ben Chandler met with representatives from KAESP and KASSP during the recent joint National Leaders Conference in Washington, DC. Representative Chandler was very supportive of the issues raised by the group. Congratulations to Stephanie Sullivan, Kentucky's National Distinguished Principal for 2009. Stephanie is the principal of Graves Central Elementary in Graves County. Stephanie will participate in NDP activities in Washington, DC, in October. Best wishes on a fun and rewarding trip, Stephanie. We know you will represent Kentucky in grand fashion!
