The mission of the KAESP, the collective voice of Kentucky's elementary and middle level principals, in partnership with other education leaders, is to develop citizens that can succeed in a global society, by delivering to our members a network for support, professional development, visionary leadership, and by pro-active involvement in shaping education policy.

KAESP Executive Director Rosie Young and State Rep. John Ansman receive the NAESP Goal Buster Plus Award from Past President Mary Kay Sommers, Zone 5 Director Mark Kern, and NAESP Foundation Directors Deb Harvest and Mark Terry.

KAESP Principal for A Day Participants

KAESP would like to thank all of the school leaders who participated in the Third Annual Principal For A Day Program this year. Approximately 50 schools participated by inviting a community leader into their schools to serve as an honorary Principal for A Day. Also, many thanks to our community members who so graciously volunteered to serve as the Principal in a Kentucky school. Please click here for the complete listing.
