Anchorage Independent School District Principal
Anchorage Independent School District is searching for an outstanding leader of principal for Anchorage Elementary School. Anchorage Independent School District is a K-8 school with approximately 400 students located in a very desirable area of Louisville, Ky. and is the highest scoring school district in the state of Kentucky. Anchorage enjoys tremendous parent participation and high expectations for success from the school community. The staff is experienced, innovative and supportive and the PTA works tirelessly for the benefit of the students. This position is created by the retirement of the current principal. This position is without a doubt, one of the most desirable principal positions in Kentucky and the nation! The position is 240 days based on a very impressive salary schedule with an administrative increment from 1.21 to 1.273 with fringe. Life insurance (in addition to the state life insurance) coupled with long-term disability insurance makes this one of the best principal positions in Kentucky.
